Connect to a Windows PC from another device
BEFORE YOU START

STEP 1
Enable Remote Desktop
On the PC you want to connect TO:
Settings
↓
System
↓
Remote Desktop
↓
Enable Remote Desktop
Click Confirm
STEP 2
Find The Computer’s IP Address
Open Command Prompt
Type: ipconfig (enter)
Look for IPv4 Address . . . . : 192.168.0.22
STEP 3
Test Network Connectivity
On the computer you will connect FROM:
ping 192.168.0.22
Ensure successful ping response.
STEP 4
Launch Remote Desktop
- Press: Windows Key + R
- Type MSTSC (Enter)
- In the MSTSC application, enter the target computer IP address (192.168.0.22)
- Enter username & password
